Automazione Veneto finances project to eradicate Xylella
A big step forward in the fight against Xylella. Thanks to the combined action of cold and a biological pesticide, the bacterium can be defeated: it is possible to recover centuries-old and millenary olive trees, saving the landscape, the environment, people’s health, family oil production, and the traditional olive oil sector.
The research was funded by Automazione Veneto and the solution found has already obtained an international patent.
Automazione Veneto wanted to send a strong signal to the major companies in our country: it is possible to finance environmental sustainability projects while pursuing one’s own industrial development plan.
